The Press Conference is a chance for us, the organisers, to get together with as many of the participants as possible to discuss the upcoming show. This is our chance to shake hands, renew friendships and meet new participants in a relaxed, informal atmosphere and talk about what’s going to happen at CARP ZWOLLE 2019. This year it is especially important as we are celebrating the 25th edition of Europe’s biggest and best carp show.
This is also the opportunity for participants of the show to reveal their latest products to members of the printed and online fishing press. New products which will be premiered at CARP ZWOLLE 2019 are shown, tested and professionally photographed for the product reviews which will appear leading up to the show.
What can we expect at CARP ZWOLLE 2019?
CARP ZWOLLE 2019 will take place on 1, 2 and 3 February 2019 in the IJsselhallen-Zwolle (click here for the opening times). You might have noticed that this will be the 25th birthday of Europe’s best carp show and we want to celebrate this ‘Silver Anniversary’ with you, the visitors. We are hoping to make to make this the best show ever!
Once again, the entire IJsselhallen complex will be full to the rafters with everything carp-fishing related. This means 20,000m² dedicated purely to our old adversary, the carp! The halls will be full of carp-related stands, 145 in all, so get there early if you want to see everything!
Tickets and Prices
As in previous years, we will only allow a maximum of 7,000 visitors in the halls per day. We want it to be possible that you, the visitors can see every stand in a relaxed and safe way. We also want the stand holders to be able to take their time with you. If you’re planning to come to the show, we advise you to buy your tickets online. We will sell tickets on the door, but it’s cheaper to buy online, saving you money and you don’t have to join the queue at the box office! We are also giving away some fantastic fishing holidays to e-ticket purchasers (read all about it: here)
A ticket at the door will cost you €16 per day, an e-ticket is €13 (plus transaction fee), it’s an easy choice to make!
The first ever show was in 1995, since then the show has got bigger and better each year. The number of visitors has also increased dramatically as we have increased the size of the exhibition space. Last year we welcomed visitors from 35 different countries, which is unbelievable. You can expect a lot of activities to celebrate our Silver Anniversary, but we’re keeping them under our hat for now. Keep checking out the website to see what we have in store for you.
