Most Carp Anglers already know that from Friday, January 31st until Sunday, February 2nd, 2020, the doors of the IJsselhallen-Zwolle will open to Europe’s Biggest and Best Carp Fishing Extravaganza. This is a show that no Carp Angler should miss! Anglers from across the world will congregate in Zwolle, The Netherlands for the traditional opening of the Carp Fishing Season.
Spread over 20.000 m² you will find everything imaginable related to our great hobby of carp fishing. If you can’t find it at CARP ZWOLLE 2020, the chances are that it does not exist.

At CARP ZWOLLE 2020, you will find more than 140 different stands, spread over 5 different halls, that proudly present their latest products and services to you, the public. Amongst the exhibitors, you will find carp fishing websites and magazines, wholesalers, retailers, artists, bait manufacturers, carp fishing holiday agents and lake-owners and much more! Some of the top European anglers will be at CARP ZWOLLE 2020 to teach you the ‘tricks of the trade’. Catching that big carp is sometimes just a minor adjustment to your rig away. These ‘Profs’ are there to help you catch that monster carp! They will be found on stands throughout the halls and will be only too willing to share their experiences with you. There will also be slide-shows and talks in the CARP ZWOLLE theatre on all 3 days, featuring some of the top names in carp fishing, don’t miss them!Who is on this year?
Sportvisserij Nederland have a special youth square in Hall 5, where there are many fun-activities for the younger anglers. For example, you can try to ‘land’ a big fish on one of the two fish-simulators. Is your technique so good that you can manage to land the fish in time? If you are new to carp angling, you can learn how to improve your technique for when you hook a really big fish on the waterside.Read more
Under the guidance of experienced carp anglers, you can tie a perfect carp-rig yourself, using a top-quality hook from PB-Products. You may of course take your rig home with you, so you can use it to catch a massive carp yourself.Read more
There is also a casting area with two light carp rods, where you can cast ‘crusts’ into buckets that have been placed at different distances. If you manage to hit the target once, you will get a stone weight with swivel, to be used for carp fishing. If you get 100 points or more, you can even pick a Rockbottom fishingstone or Steelangler weight!Read more
In hall 5 you will find our ‘Bait Boat Lake’. Here you can test the latest features of some of the best bait boats on the market. Many of Europe’s finest bait boat manufacturers can be found here and are more than happy for you to take a test cruise!
In the Media Hall (Hall 2) you will find not only some of the top online and printed carp-press companies of Europe, but also some serious carp artists at work. Watch as their ‘masterpieces’ evolve into life-like versions of our old adversary, the carp. Would they look good in your home? If so, they can be purchased from the artists themselves.
What is a party without music? Enjoy a snack or a drink in Hall 2 whilst being entertained by some great DJs.
Have you always wanted to know how Danny Fairbrass ties his rigs? How Alijn Danau chooses his swim or how Frank Warwick manages to cast so far? Well you can ask them, and many other carp fishing legends yourself. These and many more of Europe’s top carp anglers are available throughout the exhibition and in the Theatre during CARP ZWOLLE 2020.
